Today I thought I&#8217;d show you how I put together this special baby card that I created for my new great niece.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-44533\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Baby-card.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Baby-card.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/Baby-card-300x286.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are many different ways to go about making a shaker card, but I&#8217;m going to show you how I made this one with the protective covering dis-guarded from some other craft product packaging. I&#8217;m sure if you look thru your craft supplies you might find these in many different sizes. I wanted one that was fairly large to fit my entire image inside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-44535\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-1-300x286.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I traced the size of the plastic onto the front of my card, making sure it was centered. I then cut it out from the front of the card with my craft knife. I lined the inside of the front of the card with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-power-tape-81-slash-25m-with-built-in-dispenser\">Crafty Power Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-44629\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/baby-card-2-re.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"521\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/baby-card-2-re.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/baby-card-2-re-288x300.jpg 288w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/baby-card-2-re-480x500.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The lip of the plastic then set inside. The tape holding it tight in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-44543\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-3.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-3-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-3-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I cut a back for the inside of the front of the card centering\u00a0 my image on it. I made this the same size as the front of the card.\u00a0I sprinkled some sequins into the clear piece and then covered it with the piece with the image by using my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-grand-permanent-strips-dispenser-150-feet\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand<\/a> (making sure I added the adhesive close to the edge of the plastic piece to hold the sequins inside).<\/p>\n<p>I also used my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-grand-permanent-strips-dispenser-150-feet\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand<\/a> for all the rest of my pieces to create my card.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-44545\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-4.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-4-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/baby-card-4-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To give dimension to the cut out flower pieces I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/thin-3d-foam-squares-mix-white-1\">Thin 3D Foam Squares<\/a>.
