Hello everyone! It’s Judy<\/a> here today with a “Simple Things”\u00a0country\u00a0scene card with a bit of dimension created with Thin 3D Foam Squares<\/a> and 3D Foam Squares<\/a>. That little pop up really\u00a0adds depth!<\/p>\n

When I first had the idea for this card, I tried out three die sets with white cardstock to see how the shapes looked and fit together. Once I had the design plan, I decided to use the white pieces\u00a0and color them with markers rather than go hunting for different colors of cardstock. I was being a bit lazy (wink)!<\/em>\u00a0I\u00a0really like the look,\u00a0it fits\u00a0my style!<\/p>\n

To assemble the scene, I glued the fence to the hill with HomeHobby Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>. \u00a0Just add tiny drops of glue to the fence posts and press it in place. I also used it\u00a0to assemble the mail box pieces.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0landscape hill is fastened to the card with Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a> for dimension but not too much\u00a0pop.<\/p>\n

I used\u00a0the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>\u00a0to glue mail box post to landscape and 3D Foam Squares Black Small<\/a>\u00a0behind the mail box for interest.<\/p>\n

Cut a smaller piece of 3D Foam Squares Black Small<\/a>\u00a0to fit behind the tiny bird.\u00a0\u00a0 The bare trees are glued in place with Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a>\u00a0was used at bottom of evergreen tree because it’s layered over the landscape which is already popped up. I used 3D Foam Squares Black Small<\/a>\u00a0at the top for a little more thickness.<\/p>\n

I assembled the\u00a0scene to mats and then to a Kraft card with E-Z Dots\u00ae Repositionable Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Lastly, I added the stamped verse\u00a0popped up with Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n
