Hi everyone, I’m back today with a vintage notebook. \u00a0I truly love the whole vintage, distressed, shabby chic look and these papers from Glitz – French Kiss<\/a> collection are absolutely perfect. \u00a0I selected the pretty bird image from their ‘Whatnots’ and peeking behind this image is one of their ‘Paper Layers’.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

To create the notebook I used some Spellbinders<\/a>\u2122<\/em> die templates – Grand Rectangles<\/a> and Rose Creations<\/a>. \u00a0I covered Nestaboard<\/a>, created inner pages, inserted a binding wire and distressed the edges. \u00a0I then began to decorate the front cover.\u00a0\u00a0To create a dimensional frame for the pretty bird image I used the very useful 3D Foam Squares<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

I also chose to use Kraft Photo Corners<\/a> on the frame, inked lightly – again it adds to that pretty vintage look.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My rose flowers are fixed in place with Mounting Squares<\/a>. \u00a0These are initially repositionable – ideal for when I’m trying to make my mind up as to where I want to place my flowers!<\/p>\n

<\/a>Attaching the lace was done with ease using E-Z Dots, they are translucent so nothing shows through.
\n\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The finished notebook, I like it so much I’m reluctant to write in it!<\/p>\n
