My project is a mixed media round shaped card. Hi, Lea<\/a> here and I’m addicted to making round cards! LOL! So today I will share how to create this with a combination of 3D Foam Squares<\/a> as dimension and how to “Wear Your Adhesives on the Outside” with glitter.<\/p>\n

Creating my shaped card<\/h3>\n

The card base is a nice cardboard card which I covered with patterned paper. Note that I trimmed a slightly smaller circle and then distressed its circumference edges. Next I attached it with Premium Double-Sided Tape 1\/4 in<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Embellishing the card front<\/h3>\n

I added a pair of floral elements using white acrylic mousse and a stencil. With the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>, I have adhered scraps of patterned papers, gauze and romantic heart-shaped chipboard.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

For handmade embellishments, I drew flowers and leaves and painted them with watercolors. When dried, I fussy cut them. To give various dimension, I either used 3D Foam Squares<\/a> as is (one layer) or stack two 3D Foam Squares for extra height behind my handmade embellishments.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Another kind of handmade embellishment was to “Wear Your Adhesives on the Outside” with gold glitter and 3D Foam Squares Black Regular<\/a>. Simply take the top liner off and sprinkle with glitter. Then tap excess off and adhere to your project. In addition, I cut them in smaller pieces to create small highlights here and there.<\/p>\n

Finally, I added some splashes of white acrylic, squared die cuts and “with Love” sentiment. It’s ready to give!<\/p>\n
