Jana Maiwald-McCarthy’s Sugar Skull Halloween Cards<\/h3>\n

Hello Jana here and I created a set of Halloween cards using Sugar Skull Cling Stamps and Dies Set<\/a> from Stampendous. My color combination is simple and bold black and white, with touches of watercolors. I think they turned out pretty cool!<\/p>\n

Glitter from the Frantage Encrusted Jewel Kit<\/a> were used to highlight two of the images by adhering with Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>. I tried to color one of the sugar skulls, but my skills are not the best \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

For texture and interest, I added glittered tulle behind the Sugar Skulls. 3D Foam Squares<\/a> were used for dimension and E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> adhered everything else. Happy Halloween!<\/p>\n

Vicki Chrisman’s Polar Bears Card<\/h3>\n

I fell in love with these\u00a0Polar Bear Cling Stamps and Dies<\/a> and decided I wanted to use them to create the card I’m sharing here today. Using non-traditional Christmas colors on this Christmas card, I did a watercolor effect on my background using Distress inks. Next, I stamped the bears and pieces of ice, colored them and die-cut using the coordinating dies in the Polar Bear Cling Stamps and Dies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Stampendous<\/p>\n

The die-cuts were placed on the card panel using\u00a03D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. Rarely do I create a card without using 3D Foam Squares \u2013 they give great dimensional effect.\u00a0You have the option\u00a0of black or white squares in different sizes, and there\u2019s even rolls of Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>.<\/p>\n
