Let’s get moving with some fun holiday shaker cards! Hey lovelies! I’m creating fun things for Christmas. Today’s card design can be used for any holiday or season. Just change up your cut out shapes and colors inside the shaker area. Check it out…let me show you how.<\/p>\n

\"Fun<\/p>\n

The Deets for your Holiday Shaker Card<\/h2>\n

Start by choosing shapes you love. I went with a Christmas tree and a reindeer. Find some holiday scrapbooking paper for the background and matching colors of sequins to get started. I found a great holiday\u00a0collection from Simple\u00a0Stories that was perfect!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The four images below show\u00a0how the shaker feature is created.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

After I cut my\u00a0shapes on my\u00a0card bases with the\u00a0Silhouette Cameo, cover over the cut shapes acetate using\u00a0my E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Refillable Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0to secure it in place.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Add\u00a0Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>\u00a0around the shape but make sure that there are no gaps because those sequins will escape! You don’t want that \ud83d\ude42 Also, don’t forget to add Crafty Foam Tape on the bottom and corners for balance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Don’t forget to\u00a0add those sequins in the middle area of your shape.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Trim your patterned paper size – enough to cover the back side of the card front.\u00a0Finally, remove the liner from your Crafty Foam Tape pieces and cover with the cut paper. This should cover your shaker feature. Give it a shake – isn’t that fun?<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Now we embellish the card front with cardstock stickers that came with this holiday collection to tie it all together. To bring more interest to the stickers, use 3D Foam Squares<\/a> to pop up a few. See the close-up image below for some ideas.<\/p>\n

Have fun with the shapes you choose and the embellishments too.<\/p>\n
