A special anniversary card deserves to have an extra special touch by adding layers and dimension in a big way!<\/p>\n

Today I wanted to share with you a bit about how I created this card for my sister and brother-in-law for their 60th Anniversary. Even though we couldn’t be there to celebrate, I wanted it to be a big beautiful card that let them know that we send them all our love and best wishes.<\/p>\n

\"An<\/p>\n

Details behind the Anniversary Card<\/h2>\n

When making a larger and more involved card like this one, I love creating it with lots of dimensions. 3D Foam Squares<\/a> are great for embellishments but what about when you want to raise up a large matted piece?\u00a0 The answer is Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>.\u00a0 It’s perfect for the task and so easy to use.\u00a0 Simply cut your pieces to the exact size you need.\u00a0 In this case, I used it to raise up the entire brown piece of cardstock that I built the rest of the card on.<\/p>\n

As I put together the rest of the card, I used my 3D Foam Squares White, Small<\/a> to lift up the smaller pieces like the butterflies.\u00a0 I used Crafty Power Tape 81″ Dispenser<\/a> to adhere the vintage lace. Varied sizes of Adhesive Dots<\/a> were used to secure the other embellishments.\u00a0 The general adhesive I used on this card was E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\nWhen they receive it, I know they will see a lot of love and thought went into creating it. Having the right adhesive makes creating that much more enjoyable.<\/p>\n
