I think you&#8217;ll enjoy some fun new cards I created \ud83d\ude42 Hello everyone and Happy New Year, <a href=\"http:\/\/scissorsglueandpaper.wordpress.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jana<\/a> here to share this bright flamingo set of cards today.<\/p>\n<p>When I have the time (and the energy!) to create some cards, I like to do a bunch of them. Just grabbing papers from my stash, matching elements and\u00a0stamping to get me started on my creating. This time, I am using this fabulous stamp and die set from My Favorite Things called\u00a0Flamazing. With a name like that, you have to use it! I thought I&#8217;d give it a try because I\u00a0wanted to have that messy imperfect look and it worked perfectly. Although I did use green ink pads for some of the palm trees. I love to mix of colors and media for an interesting effect.<\/p>\n<p>Referring to the images below, I trimmed patterned papers into strips and added stitching for more interest. Then I assembled the elements to the card front with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-r-permanent-strips-refillable-dispenser-49-slash-15m\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips<\/a> and popped up the die cuts with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/thin-3d-foam-squares-mix-white-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. The E-Z Runner also useful in securing my stray threads to the back of the paper strips.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52757\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/flamingocard-howto-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"1000\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/flamingocard-howto-1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/flamingocard-howto-1-150x300.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/flamingocard-howto-1-250x500.jpg 250w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I am really happy with how these cards turned out.
