Hey, everyone! Teri<\/a> here with a stamped card, which features some DIY embellishments I created with foil and\u00a0Foam products<\/a> from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\u00ae.\u00a0 DIY embellishments are an excellent way to add a bit of sparkle and shine to all your paper crafting projects!<\/p>\n

Adding Sparkle to DIY Embellishments<\/h2>\n

One of my favorite elements on this card is the starry sky. Here’s how I did it: I created a cloudy background by applying light blue ink on a circle cut from white cardstock. I stamped the words and adhered the elephant (with Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>, of course) onto it!\u00a0 I then placed three little foam stars from the 3D Foam Holiday Embellishment Kit<\/a> onto the circle.<\/p>\n

This is where the magic happened. I placed the silver sheet of foil from the embellishment kit onto the stars and burnished the foil to them with my finger! Not sure about using your finger to do the burnishing? Try using a bone folder instead!<\/p>\n

Another fun element on this card? That’s the silver border! It was so easy to make!<\/p>\n

Cut a piece of\u00a0Crafty Foam Tape<\/a>\u00a0that would fit\u00a0across my card and adhered it to my card. I removed the backing paper, set some silver foil on top and rubbed the foil right onto it! The result? The cool border you see!<\/p>\n

Another fun embellishment idea? The triangle at the bottom! It would be easy to recreate! Simply take a photo corner<\/a> and place it on your project. Add a 3D Foam Circle<\/a> to it. Remove the backing paper and burnish some foil onto it!<\/p>\n
