Hello Friends!  Today, I’m sharing an ART Mini Canvas that I created using a verse from Penny Black.  That, along with a tag die,  was my inspiration for this project!  I’ve used 3D Foam Squares Black<\/a> and  Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix <\/a>to add dimension.<\/p>\n

Canvas Basics<\/h2>\n

The base of ART Mini Canvas is a 3 x 4 inch stretched artist canvas. Start with the edges painted with acrylic paint.  When dried, rub ink on the edges and corners but without covering paint completely.  I used colors to coordinate with my background paper.<\/p>\n

Embellishing the Surface<\/h2>\n

The background paper is glued to the canvas with Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>.  The broad tip (shown open in photo) made a quick application on the canvas.  I evened out the glue with my finger and applied the paper.<\/p>\n

Next, I cut two tags, one of red patterned paper for a mat and one of tan patterned paper for the verse. Distress the edges by inking with Black Soot ink.  I stamped the verse with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink and clear embossed it.<\/p>\n

I used Thin 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a> to fasten the verse tag to the red one.<\/p>\n

Crafting the Details<\/h2>\n

On the back of the red tag, I used 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Next, I cut letters from patterned paper to spell “create”.  I used 2 of the small squares from 3D Foam Squares Black Mix<\/a> on the back of each letter and fastened the letters in place.<\/p>\n

Secure the fibers to the top of the tag by sewing a button through it and the tag.  I also used Adhesive Dots Small <\/a>behind the button and fibers to secure it firmly to the tag.  Fasten tag to the canvas and add black dots near the letters with Neon Amplify!<\/p>\n

The back of ART Mini Canvas is covered with lightweight cardboard and added an easel piece which was fastened with Extreme Double-Sided Tape \u00bd\u02ba<\/a>.<\/p>\n
