Hi, everyone! Teri<\/a> here with an easy shaker pocket created with one of the Keepsake Envelopes<\/a> from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\u00ae. These shakers look great on cards!<\/p>\n

\"Easy<\/p>\n

Making the Shaker Pocket<\/h2>\n

The shaker on this card is easy to recreate with the Keepsake Envelopes<\/a>. It’s also a quick, time-saving way to make an interactive card!<\/p>\n

Start by cutting a piece of cardstock to fit inside the pocket envelope. I went with white cardstock, but you could use any other color out there.\u00a0Then you simply stuff the pocket with sequins, beads or, even, glitter!<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

There is adhesive on the pocket, but I wanted to add a little adhesive to it since the sequins I used were pretty small. I worried they might fall out when I mailed the card. So I simply added a small piece of\u00a0Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1\/4in<\/a>\u00a0to the pocket. It’s perfect because it’s clear when you remove the red backing paper.<\/p>\n

Imagine making all kinds of shakers like these to use on cards, as well as scrapbook pages and tags!<\/p>\n

Using a Shaker on a Card<\/h2>\n

I made my shaker pocket so it could go on a card. I’m not one to send cards out for Independence Day, but I wanted to create a general card to send to one of my friends in early July! You’ll notice I used a white, blue and red color scheme to make this card because of that.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

I added a few stars too. They were easy to make! I simply took a couple 3D Foam Stars<\/a>, placed them on my project and rubbed foil onto them!<\/p>\n

The hello word looks like a pre-made embellishment. Guess what? It’s not! I made it myself by applying foil to a piece of foam from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit<\/a>. Then I simply die-cut the word from it and put it on my card! Easy peasy!<\/p>\n
