It’s getting close to one of my favorite times of the year; the 4th of July!\u00a0 I love to celebrate the birth of our great nation with fireworks, grilling out and sharing special treats.\u00a0 Terri<\/a> here, sharing this festive trio of patriotic treat boxes with creative embellishment tips!<\/p>\n

Patriotic Embellishments Using Foam Shapes<\/h1>\n

I pulled out several foam shape kits to decorate my die cut treat boxes, including the 3D Foam Stars<\/a>\u00a0and 3D Foam Pennants<\/a>.\u00a0 I wanted to incorporate my decorative paper onto my foam shapes.\u00a0 It’s quick and easy!\u00a0 Simply trace the outline of the foam images onto decorative paper, then trim with scissors.\u00a0 Apply the paper star (as pictured below) to the foam star and you have instant dimension!<\/p>\n

Embellish With Glitter and Foil<\/h2>\n

Foiling is always fun, so I brought out the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit<\/a>.\u00a0 I chose the red foil from the kit to embellish one of the\u00a03D Foam Stars<\/a>.\u00a0 It ties together so nicely with the plaid paper design, don’t you think?\u00a0 I also added silver glitter to a few stars and scattered about.\u00a0 \u00a0The die cut circle sentiment is also popped up, courtesy of the large foam circles from the 3D Foam Circles White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Creating The Magic Seal<\/h2>\n

There’s one thing that all three of my patriotic treat boxes have in common.\u00a0 Any guesses?\u00a0 The\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>!\u00a0 I swapped my cartridge for the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong Refill<\/a>.\u00a0 It truly is my favorite for having that added level of security to seal all those tabs inside.<\/p>\n

The last elements that I’m using today are the Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>\u00a0for my patriotic treat box above.\u00a0 I used the silver foil sheet from the 3D Foam Creative Embellishment Kit<\/a> to add a little sparkle and shine on my border sentiment.\u00a0 It’s another great way that you can “Wear Your Adhesive On The Outside!”\u00a0 \u00a0I also really love the starry paper that tops my 3D Foam Pennants<\/a> and adds that extra touch of Americana!<\/p>\n
