Creating Fall Leaves Banner Basics<\/h2>\n

The banner measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches plus the twine hanger. Stamp the natural canvas base with a script design using Archival ink. For interest, fray its edges and bottom.<\/p>\n

The letters for “FALL” are cut from 3D Foam Creative Sheets<\/a> (black) with black cardstock fastened to one side before die-cutting. Once cut, they become dimensional letter stickers.\u00a0 Simply remove backing and place on the burlap border. They really stick to it! To create a faux stitching design simply use a black marker.<\/p>\n

The burlap paper is fastened to the canvas with Extreme Double-Sided Tape \u00bd\u02ba<\/a> which is a very strong adhesive. It also fastened the canvas in back to form a casing for the twig.  Makes for no sewing!<\/p>\n

Leaf Details<\/h2>\n

The leaves are 3D Foam Leaves<\/a> which were dipped embossing powders and heated. Just remove the liner from one side and cover with embossing powder. Use tweezers to hold leaf by the stem to remove the other backing and cover with embossing powders. Keep holding with tweezers to use a heat gun to melt the embossing powder. It’s worth the patience!<\/p>\n

Shape the leaf while it’s still warm. All the embellished leaves are held on the banner with Adhesive Dots 3D<\/a>.  They really stick well to the canvas! A twine bow is fastened with Adhesive Dots Small<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tie the twine to ends of twig to finish. It’s the perfect size to hang on a doorknob.<\/p>\n
