These ornaments will bring a bounty of cheer and joy to all!<\/p>\n<p>Hello friends, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linseyrickett.blogspot.com\">Linsey<\/a> here today sharing this simple DIY craft that is fun for the whole family!  I was inspired by ornaments I&#8217;ve seen online. I made a 3&#8243; bauble and a 2 1\/2&#8243; bauble, thus 12 3&#8243; circles and 12 2 1\/2&#8243; circles were cut. This can be done with a cutting machine, punches or by simply tracing and cutting circles by hand.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"640\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2018\/11\/16\/diy-christmas-ornaments-adhesive-dots\/?tp_image_id=66747\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-2.jpg\" alt=\"DIY Christmas Ornaments with Adhesive Dots by Linsey Rickett for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" class=\"wp-image-66747\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-2-234x300.jpg 234w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-2-391x500.jpg 391w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>2.&nbsp;Fold all the circles in half and stack them on top of each other. Here are some tips for getting a symmetric-looking color distribution on the final bauble:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If using 3 colors A B C, then stack them in the order of ABBCCAABBCCA.<\/li>\n<li>With 2 colors A B, then stack them in the order ABBAABBAABBA.<\/li>\n<li>If using a single type of card, but double-sided, then alternate \u201cheads up\u201d and \u201ctails up\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3.&nbsp;Wrap a length of wire all the way around the stack so that it runs along the fold. Twist the ends together to secure. If you don\u2019t have wire, you can also just staple the stack together, once at the top and once at the bottom, so that the staple sits right on the fold.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"658\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2018\/11\/16\/diy-christmas-ornaments-adhesive-dots\/?tp_image_id=66749\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-3.jpg\" alt=\"DIY Christmas Ornaments with Adhesive Dots by Linsey Rickett for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" class=\"wp-image-66749\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-3.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-3-228x300.jpg 228w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/LinseyRickett-PaperChristmasBaubles-3-380x500.jpg 380w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forming the DIY Christmas Ornaments<\/h2>\n<p>4.&nbsp;Stick a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-medium-1\">Medium Adhesive Dot<\/a> onto a circle, about 1\/4 of the way from the bottom. Fold the facing flaps together and press to secure the bond.<\/p>\n<p>5.&nbsp;On the next circle along, stick a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-medium-1\">Medium Adhesive Dot<\/a> about 1\/4 of the way from the top.
