Hello friends.\u00a0 Terri<\/a> here, to help you celebrate National Bubble Bath Day! Yes indeed, I’ll take any reason to chill and have a relaxing bubble bath. But not just any old bubble bath; we’re having a Unicorn Bubble Bath!<\/p>\n

\"DIY<\/p>\n

Creative Label Making Tips<\/h2>\n

If you’re the crafty sort, you probably already have similar items that I’ve used, in your craft stash. Shaped nesting dies are the cornerstone of this project.\u00a0 However, you can easily trim your label into a square shape. The unicorn stamping set from MFT Stamps was colored with Copic markers and my sentiment was printed from my computer. I’ll share more about the free font that I used, on my blog.<\/p>\n

Incorporating Adhesive Embellishments<\/h2>\n

I wanted to add sparkle and shine, so I added a touch of glue from the\u00a0Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>\u00a0to my Unicorn horn.\u00a0 Sprinkle a bit of gold glitter for sparkle.\u00a0 For my colored bubbles, I applied some of the\u00a0Adhesive Dots Small<\/a>\u00a0and sprinkled clear embossing powder.\u00a0 Tap the excess powder back into the jar, then heat emboss with a heat craft gun.\u00a0 This gives a glossy shine to the unicorn bubbles.<\/p>\n

When to use Repositionable Adhesive<\/h2>\n

If you’ve ever wondered when is the right time to use your repositionable adhesive products, here is a classic example. Since I plan on creating a white embossed Adhesive Dot border around my black label backdrop, I want to center my white label temporarily. Simply drop the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Repositionable Dots Refill<\/a>\u00a0cartridge into the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0and run a couple lines of this less tacky adhesive. It helps to center my focal point for laying down an adhesive dot border, using my\u00a0Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>. Once my dots are lined up, I can then remove my white label and begin the heat embossing process.<\/p>\n

I failed to get a photo of this process but you can see the results in the first and final photo. Be sure to switch your cartridge to the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong Refill<\/a>\u00a0to secure both labels together and to adhere to the jar.<\/p>\n

Unicorn Bubble Bath Mix<\/h2>\n

I totally cheated on this recipe. It was so easy and inexpensive. I took advantage of the fact that the Crayola bathtub finger paint soap was half price after Christmas. I also bought a large bottle of Soft Soap in a creamy white formula. Because I thought it would be easier to layer my soaps, I purchased an inexpensive medium sized apothecary glass jar.<\/p>\n

I simply layered my soaps, starting with the creamy white Soft Soap, then alternating layers, one color at a time between the white layers.\u00a0 The glass jar lid is wide and easy to remove so you can pour or scoop your soap with a spoon into your bath water.<\/p>\n

This bubble bath mixture will last a very long time and it’s a great way to entice your little ones to take a bath!<\/p>\n
