Hi everyone, Christine<\/a> here today.\u00a0 This is my year for trying out some new things. I picked up this journal online and chose to make a special memory page of a festive day out with friends.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Starting the Memory Page<\/h2>\n

Using\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>, I affixed cut pieces of the patterned paper onto the journal.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

I knew I wanted to create interactive elements so began to create those separately.\u00a0 Folding a piece of the patterned paper concertina style and affixing more panels.\u00a0 I created a little die cut corner for the tag.\u00a0 I will place photos onto these.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

To securely hold the concertina element onto the page I opted for Extreme Double Sided Tape 1\/2″<\/a>, this will definitely hold!\u00a0 Affixed a little tab to use as the opening.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Creating a small envelope and tying with twine.\u00a0 Crafty Power Tape<\/a>\u00a0affixed to the reverse which will securely hold that twine in place.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Using a manila tag and\u00a0\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to attach more patterned paper pieces. I added a little distress ink to the edges.\u00a0 Within the paper set, there is pop out stickers, attaching\u00a03D Foam Squares Regular<\/a>\u00a0instantly adds an extra dimension.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The page is ready for some photos and extra elements.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The finished page..or is it? I like to leave a little space to go back and add perhaps the tickets for our day out or a little note.<\/p>\n

Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK.
