The Appeal Of Dimension<\/h2>\n

There are numerous ways to embellish your 3D adhesive foam products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.\u00a0 Glittering and embossing are a couple of favorite techniques.\u00a0 However, those are one layer techniques.\u00a0 Although 3D foam already offers dimension, how about taking it up a notch and add dimension on top of dimension for your butterfly?\u00a0 Yes!<\/p>\n

Use What You Have<\/h2>\n

I’ve had these pretty gems in my craft stash and thought they would make my butterfly really stand out.\u00a0 The\u00a03D Foam Butterflies<\/a>\u00a0have a super sticky adhesive underneath the top lining.\u00a0 Just peel the top layer and add your gems.\u00a0 Once I began, I started thinking of other things I could use to embellish with dimension;\u00a0 tiny styrofoam pellets, sequins, candy sprinkles or even kosher salt!<\/p>\n

\"Butterfly<\/p>\n

Creating A Foundation For Your Butterfly<\/h3>\n

For my die cut paper bags, I don’t want to just plop the butterfly down and call it a day.\u00a0 I want to lay a foundation so it can stand out.\u00a0 Having multiple layers offers more visual appeal.\u00a0 With that in mind, I trimmed two 7″ pieces of ribbon.\u00a0 The white satin is larger so that will be my base.\u00a0 Because it’s thin, it will easily adhere and wrap around my box using the\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong Refill.<\/a><\/p>\n

\"Butterfly<\/p>\n

Next, because my corded ribbon is thicker, the\u00a0Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1\/2in<\/a>\u00a0will offer an added level of security.\u00a0 I always use this super powerful tape when adhering ribbons of added thickness.\u00a0 If you have problems with your ribbons falling apart, give this a try.\u00a0 I promise you will notice a difference in quality and strength.<\/p>\n

\"Butterfly<\/p>\n

The final touch is adding the\u00a03D Foam Circles White Mix<\/a>, to pop up my sentiments.\u00a0 These sweet little mini treat bags are the perfect size for tucking in some sweets, a big cookie or gift card.\u00a0 It’s a great way to bring a smile to someone’s face.\u00a0 We could all use more smiles, don’t you think?<\/p>\n
