Using my\u00a0favourite adhesives, I&#8217;m sharing all of these different texture making ideas. The red patterned paper has\u00a0glittered accents so I opted for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-grand-permanent-strips-dispenser-150-feet\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>\u00a0with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/01253-e-z-runner-grand-ultra-strong-refill\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong Refill<\/a>\u00a0to make sure the layers stayed in place. It is so easy to change out the refill cartridges, see below for a quick <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/1ZOgm93qreU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Use and Refill E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dispensers<\/a> video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1ZOgm93qreU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Second, I used this same adhesive for my matted photo and then added <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/photo-corners-classic-style-black\">Creative Photo Corners Black<\/a> on the photo itself. Set the matted photo aside.<\/p>\n<h2>Texture Details<\/h2>\n<p>Using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/67087-extreme-double-sided-tape-1-8\">Extreme Double Sided Tape 1\/8in<\/a> I placed strips across the middle of the layout. Then using the blue silk ribbon, I ruffled it across the bottom strip of adhesive. The next strip I added sequins trim, and to the top strip, I added red satin ribbon.<\/p>\n<p>Adhere the matted photo over top of the ribbon strips using\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-foam-tape-black-1\">Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"alignnone\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-71196 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/TracyMcL-ButterflyLO2-500x330.jpg\" alt=\"Adding Texture to a Scrapbook Layout by Tracy McLennon for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" width=\"500\" height=\"330\" data-pin-description=\"A scrapbook layout with texture! Next using the decorative die I ran the foiled paper with the adhesive through my die cutting machine. I snipped the decorative piece in half and adhered a half above and below the matted photo.<\/p>\n<p>View this quick <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/raFIjA97rCU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Use Adhesive Sheets for Die Cutting<\/a> video below.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/raFIjA97rCU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Next, using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/01308-adhesive-dots-large\">Adhesive Dots Large<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-medium-1\">Adhesive Dots Medium<\/a>, I added a few dots diagonally across the layout, then added gold glitter to them. Using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dodz-mini-adhesive-dots-1\">Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> I added sequins diagonally across the layout too.
