Come on and let\u2019s get started!<\/p>\n<h2>Before the Polka Dot<\/h2>\n<p>As you can see, I used an ordinary wooden photo frame bought at a dollar store. But it had a shine or vanish finish so I lightly sanded before painting. When I liked the placement of the dots, I peeled off the liners and sprinkled silver glitter silver on top. Again, pressed and rubbed with my fingers to secure it and tapped off the excess.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Designer Tip:<\/strong>\u00a0After tapping off the glitter, use a soft brush to remove any stubborn excess glitter. DO NOT try to blow\u00a0it off! Not a good idea\u2026.now it&#8217;s all over my desk and on my face\u2026LOL!!!<\/p>\n<h2>After the Polka Dot<\/h2>\n<p>Place the quote into the photo frame. On the upper left corner and lower right corner of the frame, adhere a cluster of mulberry flowers, leaves and stems with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dual-tip-glue-pen-67022\">Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-71214\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/YvonnevdGrijpAdhesiveDottedPhotoFrame6.jpg\" alt=\"Unique DIY Polka Dot Photo Frame by Yvonne van de Grijp for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" width=\"500\" height=\"505\" data-pin-description=\"Who loves sparkly Polka Dots? My other hobbies include writing my blog, teaching workshops, doing charity work, cooking, speaking languages (I speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish and a little French), travelling, gardening, walking in the woods, reading books and watching movies with happy endings. I have studied law (university) and business economics and travelled around quite a lot for work. I quit working to now take care of my family. My blog is named after my first dog Phoebe.
