Hi, everyone! Do you like to stamp? I stamped a sweet sentiment, “Sending you Smiles Across the Miles” and embellished the card with 3D Foam Shapes<\/a>. With a variety of 3D Foam Shapes available, they are the perfect accent for adding a little something fun such as flock to different paper crafted projects.<\/p>\n

This card was easy to make! Here’s how you can make one like it.<\/p>\n

Setting Up for the Flock and 3D Foam Shape<\/h2>\n

Start by cutting several strips of white cardstock and sponging ink onto each one. I wanted to make a rainbow card so I used red, pink, orange, yellow and green inks. You may want to use a different color combination than me. <\/p>\n

Set the paper strips on scratch paper. Worried about them moving around? To keep them from shifting as you stamp, try using the E-Z Dots Repositionable Refillable Dispense<\/a>r to put a little temporary adhesive under them. This allows you to lift and move the papers without damage. It holds strong until you decide to remove it.<\/p>\n

Stamp an image onto the cardstock strips with black ink and then adhere the cardstock strips to a card base. <\/p>\n

Create a sentiment panel for your card by cutting a strip of cardstock and stamping a phrase onto it. Place two strips of Crafty Foam Tape<\/a> on the back of a panel and add a small scrap of thread to it. Adhere the panel onto the card. <\/p>\n

Embellishing with 3D Foam Shapes<\/h4>\n

Now, it’s time for the fun stuff! You are going to add a few 3D Foam Shapes to your card. For this card, I used 3D Foam Butterflies<\/a> since they compliment the flower so well.<\/p>\n

You can embellish the shapes with Metallic Transfer Foil, glitter and more. I chose to add a layer of white flock to the top of each butterfly. I love the soft look the flock adds.<\/p>\n

For this second card, I created a sweet little stamped scene of animals. Rather than butterflies, I added some 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> to the design. <\/p>\n

Once again, I added white flock to the 3D Foam shapes.<\/p>\n
