Hi friends! Dana Tatar<\/a> here today sharing a fun and colorful scrapbook layout that I created using the Squeeze in Some Fun collection from Photo Play Paper. I recently spent 2 weeks on vacation with family and came home with hundreds of pictures. Many of the photos will make fantastic single and multiple photo scrapbook layouts. However, there are several great memories that I documented with only one photo. Rather than leave these photos on my memory card, I decided to print them in small size and make a collage style scrapbook page.<\/p>\n

I unified random vacation memories using a rainbow color palette to create a cohesive design. This mix of pink\/orange and green\/blue photos makes me happy! By organizing individual memories by color, I was able to record 8 events on 1 page. Paired with each photo is a journaling speech bubble with additional information. <\/p>\n

Embellishing Vacation Photos with Color<\/h2>\n

I used the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Fine Adhesive<\/a> to attach rainbow vellum speech bubble embellishments under each vacation photo. This adhesive goes on slightly opaque and will dry clearer over time. After I added journaling to each speech bubble, I applied cardstock stickers onto some photos in hues to match the patterned paper beneath.<\/p>\n

I added height and color over some photos in this design with puffy stickers.<\/p>\n

I pieced the title for this page together with cardstock stickers and words that I cut by hand from die-cuts and patterned paper. I attached the title to the page using the White Mix of 3D Foam Squares<\/a>. A Black Mix<\/a> of 3D Foam Squares is also available.<\/p>\n

I used cardstock stickers to embellish the main journal card on this page. Even thin stickers help create dimension. I placed these stickers over the vacation journaling so that they would blend with the rainbow background beneath.<\/p>\n
