{"id":8004,"date":"2013-01-02T06:00:04","date_gmt":"2013-01-02T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/?p=8004"},"modified":"2013-04-16T20:13:16","modified_gmt":"2013-04-17T01:13:16","slug":"new-year-notepad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2013\/01\/02\/new-year-notepad\/","title":{"rendered":"New Year Notepad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Hello! \u00a0Christine here today and wishing you all a Happy New Year. \u00a0New Year is a time when a lot of us think about new plans and ideas and perhaps make lists, I&#8217;m a &#8216;list addict&#8217;!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8005\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"137\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">One of my favourite things to do is to customise cheap notepads that you can purchase at local supermarkets. \u00a0I use the outer cover as a template and cover with plain cardstock.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8006\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/images\/wordpress\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"434\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-2.jpg 434w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/CEmberson-Notepad-2-260x300.jpg 260w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 434px) 100vw, 434px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Using scraps of pretty paper, I cut these into panel sections, ink the edges slightly and arrange with my with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/e-z-dots\">E-Z Dots\u00ae\u00a0Repositionable<\/a> &#8211; Visualizing each as a gift for someone helps her go that extra mile. While locked away in her craft room, she always has a DVD playing, from her diverse collection from period dramas - Downton Abbey, Jane Austen to series like Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. \u201cI always fast forward gory and scary bits!\u201d she laughs. Sometimes a glass of red wine helps with creativity, but of course, she drinks quite a lot of tea, of course! Christine loves Crafty Power Tape, and uses it on all projects from cards, scrapbook pages, tags and more. \u201cI am guaranteed perfect adhesion and I will not get stressed trying to lift off the backing!\u201d Christine has a little shop\/studio where occasionally she teaches classes. \u201cIt is enormously satisfying to come up with a project, share it with others and see the delight on their faces as they are creating.\u201d Christine has been on manufacturers design teams, and appeared on craft TV in the UK.
