Hello crafty friends! Judy<\/a> here with a card with a bit of fabric. I love to sew and work with fabrics! So I decided to add a band of linen to this card without any sewing! That makes it easy, right!? There’s some twine, too!<\/p>\n

Layers of the Linen Card<\/h2>\n

On a 3.5 x 6.5-inch cream card base, cover the front with patterned paper using E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to fasten it in place. <\/p>\n

Use direct ink to paper technique with Distress Iced Spruce ink to a piece of 0.75 x 6.5-inch tan paper. Dry with a heating tool and adhere along card edge with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I also apply Distress Iced Spruce ink to another piece of tan paper large enough to cut circles later. <\/p>\n

Place a piece of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1\/2in<\/a> along the edge of the Iced Spruce piece. Cut a piece of linen to 1.125 x 6.5 inches and fray the edges. Remove tape liner on the card and press linen in place. The Extreme Double-Sided Tape works well for fabric!<\/p>\n

Cut a strip of tan cardstock to 0.375 x 6.5 inches and place a piece of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1\/8in<\/a> closer to one of the long edges. Remove the liner and place three strands of hemp cord close together to cover the tape. Then add a strip of Extreme Double-Sided Tape 1\/4in<\/a> on the cardstock strip’s back and adhere over the linen.<\/p>\n

Adding the Circle Sentiment<\/h2>\n

Stamp a circle pattern on paper previously inked with Iced Spruce, and die-cut the circle. Die-cut a smaller circle with a piece of cream cardstock. Stamp sentiment on tan cardstock and cut with a circle die. Then attach to the cream circle using E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Add the layered circle to the green circle with Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Secure the layered circle sentiment to the card front with 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. Avoid the hemp twine by adding the squares on both sides of the circle with the gap in the middle. <\/p>\n

Tie a tiny bow of hemp and attach in place with Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>. Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> roll up the Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a> a bit to fit something this small and so it doesn’t show around the bow.<\/p>\n
