Hello crafty friends! Tracy<\/a> here, and today I have a fun little tutorial to share on how to create this textured checkered pattern using Creative Photo Corners. Here are all of the details.<\/p>\n

\"Checkered<\/figure>\n

Checkered Pattern<\/h2>\n

I started by cutting my front black cardstock layer, 3.5×4.75. Then at the top and the bottom, I added Creative Photo Corners White<\/a>. This cardstock size should let you have 5 photo corners across. This is the beginning of your checkered background.<\/p>\n

\"Checkered<\/figure>\n

Now, take Creative Photo Corners Black<\/a> and add them across the top and bottom, off-set from the Creative Photo Corners White<\/a>. This will give that classic checkered background.<\/p>\n

\"Checkered<\/figure>\n

Repeat this so that you have two rows of Creative Photo Corners White<\/a> and two rows of Creative Photo Corners Black<\/a> on the top and the bottom.<\/p>\n

Add the foam sticker word to a strip of black cardstock and mat that in white cardstock using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Then the matted sentiment is added to the card using 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mat the checkered background in white cardstock and then gold cardstock. Then adhere to a white card base using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n
