Hi, friends! Can you believe Christmas is just three weeks away? Teri<\/a> here to show you how to make some adorable Christmas Joy Tree Ornaments to decorate with! These Christmas trees are easy to make and look so cute when hung up! <\/p>\n

Christmas Joy Tree Ornaments Base<\/h2>\n

To make the base, cut two triangles from heavy cardstock (or chipboard). You can hand-cut them, or speed up the process with a large triangle die and a die-cutting machine.<\/p>\n

Take one triangle and cover it with adhesive. Adhesive Sheets<\/a> are perfect for this because you want to have just enough adhesive to hold the tree’s string in place.<\/p>\n

Wrap string, twine or embroidery floss around the triangle until you’ve covered it completely! Flip it over and use a combination of Adhesive Dots<\/a> and Adhesive Lines<\/a> to hold the ends of the twine in place.<\/p>\n

Take several pieces of Crafty Foam Tape<\/a> and add them to the back of the tree. Stack your other triangle on top for a finished look in the back. It’s a perfect place to write a note!<\/p>\n

Finishing Details<\/h2>\n

Flip the tree over and adhere a “trunk” to it. You can often find small pieces of wood like I used at craft stores, or you can just go outside and find a small “trunk” in nature! Downed tree branches are wonderful for this. <\/p>\n

Complete your tree by adding a die-cut word to it, as well as a few sequins and a star. You’ll also want to add a string hanger to the tree so you can hang it. You can attach the hanger to the tree with adhesive or slide it through the middle of the tree like so! <\/p>\n

The end result is an adorable tree to hang on your Christmas tree! This tree would also look pretty cute as a tag on a Christmas gift, if you ask me!<\/p>\n

Slight Change<\/h2>\n

You can change up your tree ornament by using multiple colors of twine to decorate it with. You may even want to consider decorating it with ribbon or fabric scraps.<\/p>\n

Rather than using a die-cut word on your tree, stamp or handwrite a sentiment on a strip of heavyweight cardstock. <\/p>\n
