Hello crafty friends! Tracy here today with a love card full of textured scale background for interest. I’ll share a fun tutorial to share on how I achieved this look.<\/p>\n

Textured Scale Background Steps<\/h2>\n

To make your card front, cut a piece of 3.75 x 5-inch white cardstock. Add the first row of Photo Corners Polypropylene Black<\/a> to the top and bottom of the card front. Continue with the Photo Corners Polypropylene Black<\/a> offsetting each row. The borders at the top and bottom of the card front are about 6 rows deep to create the scale background.<\/p>\n

Trim off the Photo Corners Polypropylene Black<\/a> excess that is hanging over the card front. Now you have a stunning Textured Scale Background!<\/p>\n

Matting the Background<\/h2>\n

First, let’s create layers for the card front. Cut a mat slightly larger than the white card front with gold cardstock. <\/p>\n

In the center of the card front, measure between the textured scale background and cut a piece of black cardstock to fit. Next, cut a slightly smaller white cardstock piece.<\/p>\n

Adhere the small layers (black and white pieces) together and the textured scale background to the gold mat using the E-Z Runner Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Add the small layered cardstock piece to the front of the card using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sentiment and Embellishment<\/h2>\n

Once the puffy sticker sentiment is added to the card. Then I used Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a> to add the sequins. I used black sequins and black enamel to pick up on the shine of the textured scale background created with the Photo Corners Polypropylene Black<\/a>. <\/p>\n
