Today, I&#8217;m sharing a card with a vintage look.  The antique train image set the stage for it!  I added black photo corners at the image corners and on the corners of the card.  It makes me think of an old photo album. I wanted to keep a somewhat neutral color palette.  It ended up with a touch of green, too.  After painting, I tore the paper edges to the size I liked, about 3.5 x 5 inches. <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2021\/04\/13\/vintage-train-birthday-card\/?tp_image_id=83577\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S1.jpg\" alt=\"Vintage Train Birthday Card by Judy Hayes for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" class=\"wp-image-83577\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S1.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S1-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S1-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-card-panel-layers\">Card Panel Layers<\/h2>\n<p>Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-ultra-refillable-dispenser\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to fasten train image to black cardstock..  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-ultra-refillable-dispenser\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a> is super strong adhesive that works well for watercolor paper since it&#8217;s thick and often wants to curl.  <\/p>\n<p>I chose a tan cardstock cut to 8 x 7.75 inches and folded it in half to form a 4 x 7.75 inch card.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-vintage-train-card-details\">Vintage Train Card Details<\/h2>\n<p>To stamp the brackets at top and bottom of the train image, use a stamping platform, almost a must to get them in center and straight and also use it to stamp &#8220;Happy Birthday&#8221;.  <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2021\/04\/13\/vintage-train-birthday-card\/?tp_image_id=83580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S2.jpg\" alt=\"Vintage Train Birthday Card by Judy Hayes for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" class=\"wp-image-83580\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S2-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/judy_hayes_TrainCard-S2-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>Adhere the train image by using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-ultra-refillable-dispenser\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to apply adhesive along edges and center.
