Hello crafty friends! Tracy<\/a> here, and today I’m sharing what I used to create this pretty little unicorn layout with loads of dimension. Here are all the details on how I created by Dimensional Unicorn Layout.<\/p>\n

Add Dimension Like a Pro<\/h2>\n

I love to create layouts packed full of texture and dimension. With that comes some tricky things to adhere. Here are some tips. I started creating this layout by tracing a circle (you can use a place or a bowl) in the middle of the background patterned paper. I then used different coordinating coloured pearls to create the wreath around the layout. Some of these were self adhesive, but all of the coloured pearls I had to adhere myself and I used Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the bottom right hand corner of my Dimensional Unicorn Layout I added a large clusters of dimensional flowers. For all of the stems, leaves and flowers I used Adhesive Dots Medium<\/a> to add them. Sometimes I used more than 1 Adhesive Dot Medium<\/a> on the flowers, depending on how uneven the backs of them were.<\/p>\n

Mat the photo in white cardstock and then cut similar sized pieces of patterned paper that are used as the photos backdrop. I off-set each slightly and adhered them to the background using a combination of Crafty Foam Tape White<\/a> and E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Add the matted photo to the patterned layers using Crafty Foam Tape White.<\/p>\n

Finally I added the laser-cut ephemera. I wanted these pieces to stand out from the layered patterned paper in this dimensional layout. So I often used Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> combined with 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>, this keeps dimension between all layers.<\/p>\n
