Hello crafty friends! Tracy<\/a> here, and today I have a fun little Chevron Background layout to share. Here are all of the details.<\/p>\n

Mix & Match Patterns<\/h2>\n

This Chevron Background is a great way to mix and match patterned papers. The background is plain white cardstock. Then start with the largest chevron. I used a paper collection that I had mostly scraps left of, so start with the largest piece. I varied the pieces in widths as well. The first is 1″ wide, next is 0.75″ wide and the third is 0.5″. Switch up as you wish. Between some of the pieces I added strips of Extreme Double Sided Tape 1\/8in<\/a>, continuing with the same pattern. Add the paper pieces using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

To the pieces of Extreme Double Sided Tape 1\/8in<\/a> I added the gold Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Holographic Colors<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Mat the 4×6 photo in white cardstock and add it to the Chevron Background using Crafty Foam Tape White<\/a>. Then I added the heart embellishments using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. I also added gold gems to the tips of the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Holographic Colors<\/a> chevrons, this hides any weird joints there might have been.<\/p>\n

Add a few more mini phrases and gems across the Chevron Background, and voila! A super cute layout.<\/p>\n
