Hello friends! I had fun putting together this mini but Tall Happy Birthday Banner! The letters have dimensions to really stand out. Twine and buttons add charm! <\/p>\n

Cut Letters and Tags in the Birthday Banner<\/h2>\n

From aqua cardstock, cut 13 tags. (Approximately 5\/8 x 3 1\/8 inches)<\/em><\/p>\n

Cut a piece of blue cardstock large enough for all the letters to be die-cut on. Next, cut a piece of 3D Foam Creative Sheets Medium White<\/a> the same size. Remove liner from it and place the cardstock on it. Then, use alphabet dies and die-cutting machine to cut letters for “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”. <\/p>\n

Fasten Letters to Tags<\/h2>\n

Peel the liner from the back of each letter and secure each to a tag. Use a ruler to help align letters to keep them evenly spaced from the bottom of each tag.<\/p>\n

Attach Tags to String<\/h2>\n

Score each tag at 1\/2 and 5\/8 inches from the top. Bend tag on score lines. <\/p>\n

Place a small Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> at folded end of each tag.<\/p>\n

Cut four pieces of twine about 24-30 inches long (better too long than too short)<\/em>. Put two pieces together for each word banner.<\/p>\n

Place twine along the fold of a tag. Remove liner from Thin 3D Foam Square<\/a> and fold the top of tag over twine and press to firmly attach. Repeat for the other banner (“HAPPY” letter tags).<\/p>\n

Cut short pieces of twine and tie between each letter tag. Trim ends.<\/p>\n

Add Buttons<\/h2>\n

Apply Adhesive Dots Medium<\/a> to the back of each button. Layout buttons in color arrangement. Peel the liner from a button and place it at top of the tag. Repeat for all tags.<\/p>\n

I really like how this banner turned out especially how the white of the 3D Creative Sheet shows on the sides of the letters. It will be perfect for a special one-year-old’s birthday party today! <\/p>\n
