Hello crafty friends! Tracy<\/a><\/strong> here, and today I have a fun and sparkly little layout to share. Find out how I created this metallic background. Here are all of the details.<\/p>\n

Metallic Background Design<\/h2>\n

First I started with a sheet of 12×12 black cardstock. Next, using the 1\/2″ 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a> circles, I adhered one to the middle of each side of the cardstock. I then connected those dots using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Using the 1\/2″ 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a> circles again, add them in from the corners of the layout about 1.5″.<\/p>\n

Now add 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a> again just in a bit from the previously placed circles. Begin connecting those dots again on this Metallic Background using Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This design begins to look more and more Art Deco-inspired as I create this Metallic Background.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/h2>\n

Remove the backing from the outer pieces of Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a> and add the fine gold foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Holographic Colors<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Remove the backing from the inner Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a> square, and the outer 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a> and cover them with the fine silver Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Holographic Colors<\/a>. The metallic background is coming together. Cover the first 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a> placed in the same gold Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Holographic Colors<\/a> as already used.<\/p>\n

Mat the 2 photos in white cardstock using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a> and add Creative Photo Corners Gold<\/a>. Adhere the photos to the Metallic Background using 2 layers of Crafty Foam Tape Black<\/a>. I created the simple little title using letter stickers matted in coordinating cardstock. Then adhere to the layout using the small 3D Foam Circles Black Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The final touch is to add a little extra sparkle by way of pretty sequins and Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>.<\/p>\n
