Hi, Connie<\/a> here with a mixed media tag celebrating the beauty of nature. The 3D Foam Squares Micro White<\/a> were a lifesaver adhering the branches and deer horns to the tag. Perfect size for small areas!<\/em><\/p>\n

Mixed Media Tag Background Prep<\/h2>\n

Start with creating a mixed media background on the tag which means a combination of stencils, stamps, inks, and collage. So fun!<\/p>\n

\"Be<\/figure>\n

First, I started with a stencil, then added stamps with the Distress Oxide inks. I just play with it until I like the look. <\/p>\n

Embellishing with Elements<\/h2>\n
\"Be<\/figure>\n

Next, I stamped out my focal images and colored them with the Distress Oxide inks I used to create the background. The images were cut out and ready for adhesive. <\/p>\n

For the words, I used the 3D Foam Strips<\/a>. The branches and horns adhered with 3D Foam Squares Micro White<\/a>, and the 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> was used for the body of the animals. The pieces of vintage dictionary paper were adhered to the tag using the Dual Tip Glue Pen. <\/a><\/p>\n

This was a fun project! The hardest thing (or tricky) was the cutting out of the focal images. So worth it though!<\/p>\n
