Hi, everyone, Teri<\/a> here! Like to make cute cards without a lot of coloring? Check out this fun tutorial I created to show you how to make some cute and colorful cards with big sentiments and only one or two cute critter stamps! In this case, cute cat cards! Don’t have any cat stamps of your own? Use dog, bird, or some other cute critter stamps to make cards like these!<\/p>\n

Setting Up the Cute Cat Card Panels<\/h2>\n

Start by cutting a panel of cardstock to fit on a card. Apply some strips of patterned paper at the top and bottom. Set a large sentiment stamp on the panel, leaving a spot for a stamped cat (or critter of your choice), so you know exactly where the paper strips should go. Then secure all the strips with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips<\/a> adhesive.<\/p>\n

Stamp the large sentiment on your panel and stamp a secondary sentiment on a strip of cardstock that will fit across the panel. Set the sentiment strip aside.<\/p>\n

Use a ruler to draw a line across the panel. Line up several Creative Photo Corners Kraft<\/a> to make an interesting border along the line.<\/p>\n

Embellish the Cute Cat Cards<\/h2>\n

Adhere the sentiment over the top of the photo corner border with 3D Foam Strips<\/a>. Stamp, die-cut, and color in a cat (and any additional stamped accents you want to add) and place it on the panel with 3D Foam Squares White<\/a>. Adhere the panel to a card base with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips<\/a> adhesive. Then complete the card by adding a few sequins or gems with Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>.<\/p>\n

You can easily make more cards inspired by this design. Simply use different sentiment and cat stamps on your second card. Also, try changing how you adhere the patterned paper and photo corner border to the new card.<\/p>\n
