Hello! I’ve had this wonderful Sunflower Wreath die set for a while and finally sat down to create a sunflower card in a square format. To bring it to life, I’ve added dimension and lifted some of the flowers up. Let me show you how I made this card so you can recreate one too!<\/p>\n

Wreath Elements<\/h2>\n

For the wreath, I die-cut all the sunflowers with yellow cardstock, and their centers with kraft cardstock five times. Then I layered them and secured them with a combination of the Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> and Small<\/a> sizes.<\/p>\n

Next, I die-cut the wreath die in white cardstock to make three wreaths. Set these wreath elements to the side and let’s work on coloring the card panel.<\/p>\n

With a 5.25-inch white cardstock square, blending Prize Ribbon ink with a medium-size ink blending brush. Next, splash and mist water on the panel to distress. Set aside to dry.<\/p>\n

Cut a 5.5-inch yellow cardstock square and create a top-fold 5.75-inch square kraft card base. Mat the inked card panel to the yellow square panel with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong<\/a>. Note:<\/strong> using this adhesive will secure the inked panel flat as it was warped from the water. I popped up the layered panel to the card base by cutting up leftover 3D Foam Creative Sheets<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wreath Assembly<\/h2>\n

Stack and adhere the three white wreaths with the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Secure the sunflowers with a combination of 3D Foam Circles White<\/a> in Small, and Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> and Small<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Sentiment<\/h2>\n

Stamp and die-cut a sentiment from the Simple Strips – Friendship Stamp & Die Set on kraft cardstock and Blue Ribbon ink. Apply a 3D Foam Strips White<\/a> on the back and place it on the card front for some pop.<\/p>\n
