Hi, everyone! Is “rainbow” your favorite color like mine? Teri<\/a> here, and a fun way to add rainbows to your handmade Hello Rainbow cards is to create rainbow backgrounds!<\/p>\n

Hello Rainbow Paper Strips Arrangement<\/h2>\n

Start by cutting a panel of cardstock to fit on a card. Cut several strips of patterned paper in rainbow colors. Affix them to your panel, mimicking the look of a rainbow, using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Give your rainbow background a hint of glitz by applying strips of Crafty Power Tape Polybag 81ft<\/a> onto it, over where the paper strips meet up. A trick I use to make sure the tape is fully down on my paper is to rub an air hockey paddle over it. The felt at the bottom of the paddle makes it perfect for rubbing it over the tape and burnishing it onto the paper. Remove the release paper and cover the strips with glitter. <\/p>\n

Embellish with Stamps, Sentiment and Etc.<\/h2>\n

Adhere your rainbow panel to your card and decorate it by adding a stamped sentiment and some stamped images, using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Petite Permanent Dots Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Make your images pop by mounting them onto the card with 3D Foam Squares Micro White<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Complete your card by adding a few 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> and applying flock to them. Add a few sequins or gems with the Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a> because of its perfect size!<\/p>\n

Making More Rainbows<\/h2>\n

I used small strips of paper to make the rainbow pattern on my first card. You can mix it up by using wider paper strips or a mixture of wide and thin strips.<\/p>\n

Just like the first card, add some glitz by adding glitter to your card as well. <\/p>\n
