Hi everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here with a Jeweled Friend Card. Adding jewel stones to a card makes a card so much extra fun doesn\u2019t it? Liquid glue often dissolves the backing foil of the jewel stones. Solving this problem is super easy: use Adhesives Dots<\/a>! <\/p>\n

Wanna join me in making the card?<\/p>\n

The Jewel Friend Card Background<\/h2>\n

Start by adding some green color to the white top card panel. Next use a soft green inkpad and an ink blending tool to create a green banner horizontally over the top card panel. Now stamp upon the two rows.<\/p>\n

Adding the Jewel Embellishments<\/h2>\n

Create a dazzling effect on the Jeweled Friend card adhere lots of square jewel rhinestones to the card. Simply the stones by using Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a>, Adhesive Dots Mini<\/a> and Adhesive Dots Ultra Thin<\/a>. <\/p>\n

As mentioned earlier, liquid glue often dissolves the foil backing of the rhinestones and they leave ugly spots. When using Adhesive Dots<\/a>, you will not have this problem! Simply place the dots on the back, remove the liner and adhere them to the card panel. <\/p>\n

Designer’s Tip:<\/strong> I like to use tweezers for precise placement of the rhinestones.<\/p>\n

Create the Card Base<\/h2>\n

Mat the embellished card panel onto a blue card layer with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Next, adhere the layered panel to a white card base again using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Finishing the Jeweled Friend Card<\/h2>\n

As a finishing touch, I secured a Hello Friend sticker onto a blue banner. Lastly, adhere the banner onto the card using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

And voil\u00e1, your Jeweled Friend Card is ready. Hmm…I liked the card so much I decided to keep it myself and put it on display in my craft room! LOL!<\/p>\n

Mainly a card maker, I also like mixed media and scrapbooking. My other hobbies include writing my blog, teaching workshops, doing charity work, cooking, speaking languages (I speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish and a little French), travelling, gardening, walking in the woods, reading books and watching movies with happy endings.
