Hello everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here with a Vintage Butterfly Card. I love vintage-styled cards with romantic colors. The soft salmon color and the bows give a feminine touch to this card. <\/p>\n

I would love to share how I made the card. Shall we get started?<\/p>\n

Making the Card Base<\/h2>\n

Start by trimming a piece of patterned paper to a rectangular size. Then use a distressing tool to alter the edges of the patterned paper. Then add a little brown ink onto the torn edges to make it more vintage looking. Next, adhere the altered card panel onto a salmon card panel using the <\/a>E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> for affixing. <\/p>\n

Then adhere onto a white card base again using the <\/a>E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Creating the Doilies<\/h2>\n

First die-cut and emboss a circle shape from dull gold cardstock. Then die-cut and emboss a white doily circle shape from white cardstock. Next adhere both die-cuts onto the card base using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Embellishing the Card<\/h2>\n

First fuzzy cut a butterfly and adhere to the card base using Adhesive Dots Ultra Thin<\/a>. Next stamp the sentiment upon a piece of white cardstock using a black ink pad. Then cut it to a banner and adhere it to a salmon banner using the <\/a>E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Then adhere the banner onto the card using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\"Vintage<\/figure>\n

For a finishing touch, I adhered two white satin bows onto the Vintage Butterfly Card using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>.<\/p>\n
