I created a sweet Birthday Shaker Card using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-foam-tape-white-54ft-1\">Crafty Foam Tape White 54&#8243;<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01230-3d-foam-strips\">3D Foam Strips<\/a>. Run the die through the<br \/>die-cutting machine with white cardstock.  Cut a piece of acetate (clear film) for the frame cover.<br \/>Stamp image on white cardstock for card front embellishment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2023\/01\/03\/happy-birthday-shaker-card\/?tp_image_id=91417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-so-2.jpg\" alt=\"Happy Birthday Shaker Card by Connie Mercer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L \" class=\"wp-image-91417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-so-2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-so-2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Using the inside piece from the Instant Photo die, add in a sky.  I use PanPastels <br \/>and layer the colors in a row.  Then take a circle stencil (or punch a circle out of cardstock) <br \/>works great, lay it over the sky and erase out the center. Gather some sequins for the inside of the <br \/>Instant Photo frame and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/e-z-runner-r-permanent-strips-refillable-dispenser-49-slash-15m\">EZ Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> will get you started.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-constructing-the-birthday-shaker\">Constructing the Birthday Shaker<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"357\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2023\/01\/03\/happy-birthday-shaker-card\/?tp_image_id=91419\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-collage-x5.jpg\" alt=\"Happy Birthday Shaker Card by Connie Mercer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L \" class=\"wp-image-91419\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-collage-x5.jpg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/chic-collage-x5-300x214.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>1. Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/dual-tip-glue-pen-67022\">Dual Tip Glue Pen <\/a>glue the acetate sheet to the back of the photo frame.<br \/>2. Cut a sheet of pattern paper or stamped paper, for the mat, that will hold the 4 x 4 sky <br \/>background for the shaker.  Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01230-3d-foam-strips\">EZ Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> to<br \/> adhere it to the mat. <br \/>3. Place the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-foam-tape-black-54ft-1\">Crafty Foam Tape White 54&#8243;<\/a> at the bottom of the sky piece and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01230-3d-foam-strips\">3D Foam Tape Strips<\/a> on the top and both sides. <em> By doing it this way, you have a straight edge that keeps the adhesive in alignment.<\/em>  I did this step twice so the sequins would have lots of room to move about.<br \/>4.  Before I could add the top to the shaker I wanted to stamp a bird and speckle with acrylic white paint.  Dry with a heat tool before adding the sequins.<br \/>5. Peel off the liner to the adhesive tapes and place the photo frame over the shaker bottom.  <br \/>6. Use <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-foam-tape-white-54ft-1\">Crafty Foam Tape White 54&#8242;<\/a> to adhere to the card base.
