Hello crafty friends, Martha Lucia<\/a> here today! Today I have a Mixed Media Tag with lots of shine! To create this I used Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in the easiest way that you can duplicate for all your crafting ideas. Let me share the details of how I created this Mixed Media Tag.<\/p>\n

Start with the Background<\/h2>\n

In my today’s project, I am using a pre-made tag that I have in my stash. However, you can create your own tag using your favorite color of cardstock and any shaped die cut. The size of mine is 5-14″ x 2-3\/4″ and it was made on white cardstock.<\/p>\n

First, I sprayed it with Fireworks (liquid ink) applying color by color and letting it dry in between the colors. It took me around fifteen minutes because I let the ink dry naturally but you can speed the process using a heat tool. The colors of Fireworks that I used were Sweet Plum, Paris Dusk, and Cantaloupe. <\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Foils<\/h2>\n

To add more sparkle and create the mixed media effect over the tag I used Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors. On this opportunity, I used Gold, Red, and Blue Metallic Transfer Foil, in combination with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a> and the\u00a0E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. I randomly applied the adhesive and cover it with the three selected colors of Metallic Transfer Foil.<\/p>\n

Embellish the Tag<\/h2>\n

To finalize my project, I used digital stamps that I just printed onto white smooth cardstock, colored with alcohol markers, and fussy cut with scissors. I pasted them over the tag with 3D Foam Squares White in Mix<\/a> and  3D Foam Squares Micro White<\/a> which is 1\/8-inch in size, for the smaller parts. <\/p>\n

As a final touch, just tied a bow of baker’s twine.<\/p>\n
