Hi, Martha Lucia<\/a> here today! Father’s Day is around the corner and I would like to share an easy and fun Father’s Day card. Normally we create masculine-themed cards for Dad. But this is really simple and easy to make as a CAS (Clean and Simple) style card. I used our fabulous 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and 3D Foam Hearts<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Let’s Get Started<\/h2>\n

First, create a standard A2 size (4.25 x 5.5-inch) card base by using basic black cardstock. For the card panel, I trimmed a piece of white smooth cardstock. You can stamp your phrase as I did with my Happy Father’s Day sentiment. <\/p>\n

Then, on a separate piece of white smooth cardstock, I stamped and die-cut the main image. I positioned it over the card panel and lift it up with 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Embellish the Panel<\/h2>\n

To give a realistic look to my easy and fun Father’s Day card, I placed four small foam hearts from the 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> on each corner. <\/p>\n

Keep in mind two things:<\/em> 1. Don’t remove the top liner from the foam hearts; 2. Like the playing card, position the two bottom foam hearts upside down.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Foil + Foam Hearts<\/h2>\n

Continue with the process of Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside, one of my favorite techniques, to add shine to my card. Simply remove one of the top liners of the foam hearts and cover (with the foil color facing you) it with a piece of red foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>. Repeat for each heart.<\/p>\n

To finalize the Father’s Day Card, I placed the decorated card panel over the black card base using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Now it’s ready to give to Dad!<\/p>\n
