Hi, everyone! Teri<\/a> here with a fun way to upcycle old wood blocks into a cute piece of decor to add to a desk or a shelf! Just add patterned papers, a few basic paper crafting supplies… and, of course, adhesive products from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L!<\/p>\n

Decorate the Wood Blocks<\/h2>\n

Start by cutting several pieces of patterned paper to cover your wood blocks with. Cover each side of your blocks with those pieces. Use the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong<\/a> adhesive to secure the paper panels onto your blocks!<\/p>\n

Use a small piece of sandpaper or a nail file to distress the edges of the panels. Make sure you brush off any leftover paper dust after you’ve completed your sanding.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Metallic Transfer Foil<\/h2>\n

Decorate your blocks by adding a few 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> (or any other 3D Foam Shape your heart desires) onto them. Burnish foil onto the shapes. I used the gold foil color from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors<\/a>. When removing the top liner from the foam heart, make sure the color is facing you before placing it on top of the exposed adhesive. <\/p>\n

Finishing Touches to the Wood Blocks<\/h2>\n

Continue to decorate your blocks by stamping some words onto cardstock strips and adding them to your blocks with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong<\/a>. Add a few sequins with Adhesive Dots Micro<\/a> to your blocks as well.<\/p>\n

Finish your piece of home decor by stacking your blocks and using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Ultra Strong<\/a> to hold them together. Tie some twine or ribbon around them to not only hold them together but add a cute accent!<\/p>\n
