Hi everyone, Yvonne<\/a> here with a fun Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card. I am adding in an unexpected element – tissue paper! Did you know that the Dual Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> is the perfect adhesive for tissue paper?<\/p>\n

\"Hey<\/figure>\n

This card is fairly easy to create and I would love to share how I made it. Oh\u2026 and a touch of the technique called Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a> is also used! Wanna join me in creating?<\/p>\n

Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card Step Outs<\/h2>\n

Let’s start by making the top card panel of the Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card. Tear a piece of patterned tissue paper to fit part of a white top card panel. <\/p>\n

Apply the Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> over the back of the tissue paper using your finger or the broad tip. Place it onto the top card panel. Make sure to adhere the loose ends of the tissue paper by rubbing more Dual Tip Glue Pen<\/a> adhesive over the edges of the tissue paper. Then let dry.<\/p>\n

Adding Color and Elements to Card Panel Background<\/h2>\n

Place the top card panel of what is going to be your Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card on top of a paper towel. Then sprinkle pigment powder over the panel. Spray a water mister on the pigment powder to reveal its color and let it flow over the card panel. Let dry. You can use a heat tool to speed up the drying process.<\/p>\n

Next, adhere washi tape horizontally over the top of the card panel. Make sure to fold the ends to the back of the card panel. This creates a wonderful layer! <\/p>\n

\"Hey<\/figure>\n

The Card Base<\/h2>\n

Mat the top card panel onto a black card panel using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Then adhere to a white card base. Now it\u2019s time to embellish the Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card!<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with the E-Z Runner Stars<\/h2>\n

To embellish the Hey There Gorgeous Mixed Media Card, start with running the E-Z Runner\u00ae Stars Refillable Dispenser<\/a> in a vertical line over the card. <\/p>\n

\"Hey<\/figure>\n

Cover and rub to secure the glitter embossing powder over the stars. Tap off the excess and use a heat tool to melt the embossing powder. This technique is called Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside<\/a>. It’s such an easy technique without the fancy tools…just use what you have!<\/p>\n

Finishing Touches<\/h2>\n

Adhere a piece of cotton lace horizontally over the card with the E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. Add a small picture onto the card using Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> for a subtle lift for interest. Lastly, add a washi tape sentiment. <\/p>\n
