Hi, Judy<\/a> here today! Where I live the leaves will soon turn colors. With that thought, I put together an Autumn Card featuring a cut out stamped leaf that’s fastened and popped up with Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. Subtle stamped images of the same leaf create the background and a stamped title completes the card. <\/p>\n

Card Parts<\/h2>\n

\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Cut white card stock 8.5 x 5.75 inches and fold to form a 4.25 x 5.75-inch card. From Saw Grass cardstock, cut a piece to 3.75 x 5.25 inches, and from dark brown cardstock cut a piece of 3.875 x 5.375 inches.<\/p>\n

Stamp leaf with Distress Archival Ground Espresso ink and heat emboss with clear embossing powder. <\/p>\n

Color Leaf<\/h2>\n
\n
\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Use a foam applicator tool to apply Distress inks (Broken China, Carved Pumpkin, Abandoned Coral, and Twisted Citron) over the leaf extending beyond the edges of the leaf image. Rub over the leaf with a paper towel to remove excess ink. Fussy cut around the leaf allowing a slight border.<\/p>\n

Background<\/h2>\n
\n
\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Use leaf stamp and Distress Antique Linen ink to stamp the background on Saw Grass paper.<\/p>\n

Stamp Verse<\/h2>\n
\n
\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Temporarily position the leaf on the background to determine the placement of the verse and then stamp “Autumn” with Onyx Black ink. Ink verse with Onyx Black ink, stamp off once on scrap paper, and then stamp below “Autumn”.<\/p>\n

Card Assembly<\/h2>\n
\n
\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Adhere the background to a dark brown piece using E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable Dispense<\/a>r<\/a>. Then apply adhesive to the back with the same adhesive and secure to the card front.<\/p>\n

Attach the Leaf<\/h2>\n
\n
\"Autumn<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

Place Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> on the back of the leaf. Apply adhesive to stem with E-Z Dots\u00ae Permanent Refillable Dispense<\/a>r<\/a>. Peel liners from the foam squares and attach the leaf to the card front.<\/p>\n
