The inspiration for the card is the sentiment. I&#8217;m using stamps, stencils, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01258-e-z-runner-grand-repositionable-dots-refillable-dispenser\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dots Repositionable Dispenser<\/a>. To create a background I used stamps, stencils, and Distress Oxide ink.  Keep in mind it is hard to mess up mixed media, just keep adding stamps and stencils, use different inks, paint, etc. to get the look you want.  <em> You will recognize the &#8220;look&#8221;, I promise!<\/em><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-position-and-stamp-the-relax-card-panel\">Position and Stamp the Relax Card Panel<\/h2>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/03\/relax-mixed-media-card\/?tp_image_id=95033\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink.jpeg\" alt=\"Relax Mixed Media Card by Connie Mercer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L \" class=\"wp-image-95033\" width=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink.jpeg 800w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink-300x300.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink-500x500.jpeg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax5-ink-768x768.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li>1. Stamp the deer on white cardstock and arrange it to sit on the podium.  <br \/>2. Using a brick wall stencil apply in random spots to create interest to build the card background.  Also, add in stamps and stencils for added interest.  This is the fun part!!<br \/>3. Use the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01258-e-z-runner-grand-repositionable-dots-refillable-dispenser\">E-Z Runner\u00ae Grand Dots Repositionable Dispenser<\/a> to secure the podium image, so the deer can be embossed.  I wanted the feet of the deer to be as close to the podium as possible.  Using the repositionable tape is just a safety precaution to ensure the images are in the right place.  <br \/>4. Add the podium and sentiment strips using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-variety-pack\">3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01230-3d-foam-strips\">3D Foam Strips<\/a> to the card front.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/03\/relax-mixed-media-card\/?tp_image_id=95034\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax6-ink-500x334.jpeg\" alt=\"Relax Mixed Media Card by Connie Mercer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L \" class=\"wp-image-95034\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax6-ink-500x334.jpeg 500w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax6-ink-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax6-ink-768x513.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/relax6-ink.jpeg 800w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-assemble-the-card\">Assemble the Card<\/h2>\n<p>Back the card front and card mat, using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/crafty-foam-tape-black-108ft-1\">Crafty Foam Tape 108&#8242; Black<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-02100-crafty-foam-tape-108-ft\">Crafty Foam Tape 108&#8242; White,<\/a> to adhere them to the white cardstock base.
