Using watered down Distress Oxide inks dab the tag in a color, let it dry and repeat until you get the look you want. <em>This process can be done several times with different color of inks.<\/em>  I selected three coordinating colors of ink.<br \/>2. Stamp label, birds then color and trim out.  I used Distress Oxides to add color to the birds. <br \/>3. Stamp added images to the tag fronts using the same inks used to create the tag backgrounds.<br \/>4. Stamp out the sentiments and trim out.  I used Hero Arts Pigment ink for this. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" data-pin-url=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/2023\/10\/19\/sending-hugs-mixed-media-gift-tags\/?tp_image_id=95042\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/birdtag6-ink.jpeg\" alt=\"Sending Hugs Mixed Media Gift Tags by Connie Mercer for Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L\" class=\"wp-image-95042\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/birdtag6-ink.jpeg 600w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/birdtag6-ink-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/birdtag6-ink-500x333.jpeg 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Add the large labels to the tag front with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-02100-crafty-foam-tape-108-ft\">Crafty Foam Tape 108&#8242;.<\/a> Using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/3d-foam-squares-white-variety-pack\">3D Foam Squares White Mix <\/a>add the birds to the large labels.  Add sentiments using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scrapbook-adhesives.com\/products\/c-01230-3d-foam-strips\">3D Foam Strips<\/a>.
