Hi everyone, Yvonne here. Today I am sharing a dimensional Botanical Home Card that is fairly easy to make, it’s also suitable for beginner cardmakers. This card is all bout layering and adding dimension. I would love to share how I made my card. Wanna join me?<\/p>\n

Botanical Home Card Background<\/h2>\n

To create a background for the Botanical Home Card, I stamped dotted lines onto a piece of soft grey cardstock using light grey ink. Then stamp horizontal lines on top using dark grey ink.<\/p>\n

Creating a Scenery<\/h2>\n

First I fussy cut out a window from patterned cardstock using scissors and a craft knife. Adhere to the stamped card panel using 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\"Botanical<\/figure>\n

This is the base for decorating the Botanical Home Card. Next, cut botanical elements from patterned cardstock and adhere them to the window frame using a combination of 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a> and Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. By using various thicknesses, you add extra depth to the card. Then tuck a twig behind the adhered elements. Trim the top card panel to the desired size.<\/p>\n

Create the Card Base<\/h2>\n

First, adhere the top card panel of the Botanical Card onto a pink card panel. Then place on a white card base using the E-Z Runner\u00ae Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Sentiment<\/h2>\n

For the finishing touch, stamp the sentiment and a word onto white cardstock with black ink. Secure on the Botanical Home Card with 3D Foam Squares White Mix<\/a>. Voil\u00e1! the Botanical Card is ready. It\u2019s so easy to create a beautiful card!<\/p>\n

Mainly a card maker, I also like mixed media and scrapbooking. My other hobbies include writing my blog, teaching workshops, doing charity work, cooking, speaking languages (I speak Dutch, English, German, Spanish and a little French), travelling, gardening, walking in the woods, reading books and watching movies with happy endings.
