Hi, Emily<\/a> here today! I’m excited to share a simple Envelope of Hearts but a fun take on cardmaking using some lovely 3D Foam Hearts<\/a> and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets<\/a> to add more shine to your cardmaking! <\/p>\n

The Keepsake Envelopes<\/a> were my inspiration here as I wanted to create an envelope that was bursting with flowers & hearts! I used the smallest envelope in the pack. The great part about the Keepsake Envelopes<\/a> is the backing is all adhesive, so I was able to just peel the back off and place it onto the front of my card! I stuffed it with some vellum leaves so it looked more ‘realistic’. Then I added the flowers with my E-Z Runner\u00ae Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser<\/a>. The Keepsake Envelopes<\/a> would also be a great use in journaling or memory keeping.<\/p>\n

I was able to put the larger flower on with the 3D Foam Squares Small<\/a> since I knew I wanted to add the hearts near them. Also, I added the smaller flowers on with the 3D Foam Squares Micro<\/a>, I LOVE these squares and get SO much use out of them. They are especially perfect for adding that extra lift on smaller details that are perfect for card making.<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with 3D Foam Hearts!<\/h3>\n

Now time to add my heart accents! I love these 3D Foam Hearts<\/a>, they are perfect for the upcoming Valentine’s holiday and are so much fun to use in card making, and so easy! Simply placed them down around my flowers, and then I grabbed some of the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets in Pastel Colors<\/a>. Using the pink & purple foils, rub the foil, the color side facing you, onto the 3D Foam Hearts<\/a>. These add the perfect amount of shine!<\/p>\n

To the right side, I had some blank space to fill. To play on the envelope theme, I found some ephemera in my stash that looked like a notepad. I also used this adorable pencil as well! Using the Micro 3D Foam Squares<\/a>, I placed the pencil on top of the note card, perfect size! <\/p>\n

I added one more 3D Foam Heart<\/a> in the corner of my little notepad, perfect for either writing your sentiment or leaving it as is. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has all sorts of fun 3D Foam Shapes<\/a> you can add foil to! This is such a fun technique, and I hope it’s something you will be inspired to try! <\/p>\n
