Hi, Jingle<\/a> here today and I am super excited about this Hooray for Rainbows Card today! Why? Well, because my five-year-old inspired it! The other day, he came to me and said, “Mama, I want to use your foil to create a rainbow. What can I use for the sticky parts to do that?” Well, naturally, I quickly jumped in to find the perfect solution! And then I just HAD to create my own foiled rainbow card, as well!<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Hooray for Rainbows Card Design<\/h2>\n

So, what was that perfect solution, you ask? Well, I pulled out the 3D Foam Circle Frames White<\/a> to get the perfect rainbow look! First, I simply cut the entire sheet of circles in half, while they are still on the release paper. This makes it easy to share with a kiddo or friend, too!<\/p>\n

Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Foils<\/h2>\n

I then carefully lifted the release paper from each rainbow arch, working a single color at a time, and added the various foils! I pulled foils from a couple of different sets. Using a combination of the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Variety Colors<\/a>, and Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Celebrate Colors<\/a>, I create a colorful rainbow! Simply face the foil color towards you, gently rub it to transfer the color, and peel it off. Reapply foil in the missed areas.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

After foiling the rainbow, I carefully removed it from the sheet as a whole piece and adhered it to my card front. I popped up the fun layered sentiment with 3D Foam Circles White Mix<\/a> which fits perfectly just at the bottom of the rainbow.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

This was such a fun design to create and I do hope you try it! If you happen to have a little one in your life, feel free to give them a shot, too! My son did an amazing job foiling each layer of his rainbow independently! Hooray! <\/p>\n
