Cute Kitten Card Panels
Stamp a cat image on white cardstock with a black ink pad. Color the image with coloring pencils and die-cut a rectangle around the image. Mat a die-cut and embossed pink card panel. Adhere the layers using 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size for dimension and interest.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside for a Striped Background
To create the striped pattern on this layer of the Cute Kitten Card, I use the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique. It brings the adhesive from under layers to the top to make them become part of the design element. I have placed horizontal lines on a piece of white cardstock panel using Crafty Power Tape 81ft. Remove the liners and cover the exposed adhesive with gold glitter. Rub the glitter to secure into the adhesive and tap off any excess.
Assemble the Card Base
Adhere the layered panel on the glittered striped background with 3D Foam Squares White Regular Size. Next, secure it on a pink card base using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser.
Finishing Touch of the Photo Corners
Lastly, I added a Creative Photo Corners Gold on each of the corners of the top panel – just a little extra to the card.
