Hi, friends! Did you know you can use flock with our adhesives to make a fun striped background? Teri here to do just that with 3D Foam Strips and Premium Double-Sided Tape! I’ll also show you how to put together a super cute Hello Floral Card!
Make the Hello Floral Card Panel
Use a white cardstock panel as the base to apply a combination of 3D Foam Strips Large White and Premium Double-Sided Tape 1in for an alternating stripe pattern of width and height. Or mix it up to your desired look. Trim off excess off the edges of the panel.
Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside with Flock
Remove the release papers on the strips and cover them with white flock. I used the same color but you could mix it up by using different colors. If you decide to go that route, apply each flock color to one strip at a time to keep from mixing colors together.
Assemble the Card Layers
Create your own patterned card mat by adhering a combination of different designs to a card panel using the E-Z Runner® Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser. Then pop up the flocked striped panel on the patterned card mat with 3D Foam Strips.
Create the Floral Cluster
Arrange floral die-cut shapes in a cluster design. Designer’s Tip: Use a piece of Premium Double-Sided Tape 1in to help determine placement before committing. Once the design is decided, mount the floral cluster on the card front with 3D Foam Strips Large White.
Add any additional die-cuts to your panel with 3D Foam Squares Regular Size for an extra little pop.
Add a Sentiment and Embellishments
For the greeting, I used a sticker sentiment and for extra security. I added a piece of Premium Double-Sided Tape 1in because I was worried it would not hold well with the flock I used.
Complete the Hello Floral Card by adding a few more small flower die-cuts or stickers to it with Adhesive Dots Micro. It’s a perfect size!
